This privacy policy sets out how J12 Ventures AB (“J12”), as the data controller and our affiliates (DHS Venture Partners) process your personal data. J12 Ventures takes necessary measures to ensure that personal data that we collect is being processed in a transparent, secure and lawful manner. The purpose of this privacy policy is to clarify your rights in relation to J12 Ventures.

J12 employees are trained in handling your data and only certain members of staff have access to specific information as relevant for the handling of such data. J12 further uses secured databases and backups, as well as two factor authentication to ensure the safeguarding of your personal information.

According to the general data protection regulation (GDPR), any information that can be used to identify a person is considered personal data. This includes both direct and indirect identification of persons.

Marketing

J12 Ventures may send direct marketing/proposals when we believe they are relevant to you. You can always opt out of receiving such offers either directly in the medium where it is received or by contacting us directly. Our Marketing relies upon legitimate interest which allows us to contact you directly if we deem an opportunity can be of legitimate business interest to you. If legitimate interest is not applicable we will gather your consent before contacting you with any further materials.

Retention of Personal Data

Depending on the purpose and what type of function the data fulfills, the retention time can differ from days to indefinitely.

Your Rights

You have the right to request information about what personal data concerning you that we are processing and how it is being used by contacting us. You are entitled to request correction of incorrect, incomplete or ambiguous personal data concerning you by contacting us. For the protection of your privacy and your personal data, we may require that you identify yourself in connection with exercising your rights.

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you also have the right to request that your personal data is erased or that the processing of your personal data is restricted.
